Spiritual Awakening vs. Spiritual Shift

This is an interesting time to be on earth today, there is a lot going on.  As our world shifts as it has always done we as humans are shifting along with it.  The cycle of life is a constant birth and rebirth over and over again.  We see it in nature and we see it with humans we are all one and the same.  We are all made up of energy in which we are all connected regardless of physical structure, we are family.  As we continue to shift and move forward into this new dimension we are shifting into light once again.  Like most cycles and pendulums we sway light to dark and dark to light, that is the yin and yang of our planet.  It is now that we are swaying back into the light as we go through this process we are shifting.  Many of us are being awakened to the truth about ourselves which is being spiritual awakened.  Along with that comes the affects of the spiritual shift, leaving the dark which is really the place of fear and swaying back into pure divine light.  Both the awakening process and feeling the shifts into light can feel very similar.  The true difference between the two is that once you are awakened you can never revert back to your old ways again, you essentially have changed.  The shift brings often a feeling of being tired, sick, headaches, nausea, dizziness, a feeling of going up (ascension).  The shift also come in waves like a storm at sea some are very strong and some waves come in with full force.  Either way the shift and your awakening are blessings and it means we are all heading into the right direction.  This is an important time to stay balanced since these waves can at times feel like our lives are in chaos, just breath stay grounded and with your new-found understanding realize this is a shift, a great ascension into pure light.  Doreen Virtue said it best she recently mentioned that we are at high noon and the shadows of darkness are being exposed now.  The darkness or fear is digging their nails into anything that will allow them to stay in our lives.  By having that knowledge we now are able to take back our power of love and light and finally drop the fear, just by doing that fear or darkness is no longer given power and is essentially gone from our earth once again.   By letting go of our past, forgiving people and situations we are giving up that fear and allowing light back into our lives.

The spiritual shift is easier to go through if we take the time to take care of ourselves first.  Our diet is a major factor in the shift at the moment.  Eating little to no meat, less sugar and more healthy raw foods such as vegetables and fruit are very helpful in keeping our body energy active with light.  Along with getting outside riding a bike, taking walks moving our body in some way outside is just as essential to staying balanced while we go through the shift.  Yes, it does take work and time but it is very important to make the effort in order to make it easier for you and your loved ones that you surround yourself with.  By simply being an example we can affect many people in our life without having to explain anything.  Headaches at the moment seem to be a common symptom the best medicine is earth medicine.  Go outside there are many elementals within our environment that are ready to assist in cleaning our aura and our burdens, they are truly earth angels.  Water is also essential and should be treated with love and gratitude as we drink it.  We are all made of water and when we drink water it can not only balance our energy waves but can also lend itself to curing cells.  By writing Love and Gratitude on our water filters  those words can penetrate and activate our water into healing water.  Just as we are made of water if we do not move our bodies then the water within us becomes stagnant.  By simply visualizing our water healing our bodies and cleaning up our daily toxins is just as essential as exercise and eating healthy.  If we have been hit harder with physical elements such dis-ease then we may be also experiencing a spiritual awakening.

Spiritual awakening is just as unique as each individual on earth.  Often times it can be jolted through a dramatic experience such going through a dis-ease, financial stress, loosing a loved one, an accident or even an act of violence.  These major changes in our lives makes us reflect on our selves and from that comes a blessing, we find our inner selves our intuition.  We have all been born with it some of us are lucky to keep it awake while many of us kept it asleep until we were jolted.  Our intuition is also essential as we sway back into the light; it will help us to become mindful humans and will allow us an opportunity in taking better care of our planet and each other.  Some of the common symptoms of spiritual awakening would be a change of diet often turning away from meat, hearing voices, heightened sensitivity especially around other people, hearing other people’s thoughts,  lucid dreaming, sense of knowing something is about to happen, visions of people, seeing spirits and elementals commonly seen using your third eye, seeing auras, increased energy such heat coming from your hands which is healing ability, seeing inside bodies using third eye, the list can go much further (please look on the menu above for further symptoms of spiritual awakening).

Whether you are experiencing a spiritual awakening or the spiritual shift know that you are not alone and that we have the support of the angels, especially Arch Angel Michael as he is ready and able to help everyone at anytime.  By simply remembering to ask for help and to accept it will allow us to make this shift into the light a much more graceful process.  Even knowing these shifts are taking place I too forget to take care of myself so I do understand it is not always easy but by slowing down and breathing rather than racing around it has taught me to enjoy life and ask myself what am I really racing too?

Healing our Soul Wounds

Have you ever noticed sometimes you are doing your normal routine and an old memory suddenly pops into your head?  Just recently I am noticing an increase of past memories coming to me that I haven’t even thought of in years.  Memories of past friends even childhood experiences are coming back to me.  This really started to puzzle me since I have always felt pretty confident in how I have lived my life.  With the mistakes I’ve made and my accomplishments I’ve always said that I have no regrets.  Suddenly these memories are coming back and now I question myself, maybe I have unfinished business with those memories?

Since we as a collective conscience society are changing and shifting into the new age we are bringing up past issues or experiences to make room for more loving encounters.  It is sort of like the saying “Out with the old and in with the New”.  Essentially what we are all experiencing right now are soul wounds being healed.  Have you noticed recently so many in our society today are having difficulties?  Or you have been hearing about all the hardships around the world?  We as human beings and the earth are healing our soul wounds and from that pain and discomfort comes healing.

So how do we know if our soul wounds are healing?  In some ways these past memories are a gentle nudge for us to think back to a certain memory and release them with forgiveness towards ourselves, another person or situation.  Memories that make us uncomfortable to face can be hard at times especially when you are forced to look at yourself, warts and all.  By facing your past and forgiving the situation comes with it healing and more room for love in your life.  In other ways our soul wounds are being healed through karmic balancing.  Regardless of what we have to endure from health issues, financial issues, divorce, to past memories and other hardships we are healing our soul wounds.  By drawing the past out of our bodies from past lives or within this life we are all healing and that is a blessing.

To give you a short example a recent memory of an old crush in high school kept coming up for me.  It was a very short relationship after all it was just high school but nonetheless his name and picture kept coming up in my mind.  It wasn’t until I spoke about it with my friend that I realized that deep down I wondered if he was ok.  You see during my senior year in high school I went out with him and his best friend and one of my friends on a Saturday night, it was a fun teen night out.  On that Monday back to school during lunch hour the boys went out to get lunch.  The boy I had a crush on came back to school filled with tears, he had just seen his best friend die in a car accident.  Just like that he was gone!  It wasn’t until that memory came back to me that I felt guilty for taking that young boys time on his last Saturday night on earth when I felt he should have been with his family.  I needed to forgive myself!  From that memory I had to release that painful guilt that I had self induced.  Can you see how small and quick we hold onto something that is created by our own thoughts?  Deep down I was also concerned for my high school crush because from that moment his friend past on he was just not the same.  Deep down I still was concerned for him, even after all these years.  Thanks to the internet I found out that he is married with children, I was very thankful to see that.  In the end just by talking about that past memory it allowed me to release the pain and guilt I felt.  That one simple memory helped me to heal.  From that one experience I was also taught about death.  I truly believe from that one boy’s death he taught the entire school many different lessons including the families.  With that said memories allow you to grow, learn and most importantly heal.

Even if a past memory pops in your mind and it is just a small one realize that your memories regardless of how big or small are all essential in our growth here on earth.  Especially during this significant time in our world it is very important to take the time to go back to our past soul wounds and begin to face them, not hide from them.  Hiding them will only stay hidden for so long until they begin to build up and grow into a larger problem such as a health issue or accident which both can be wake up calls.

With that said here are some ways to heal soul wounds.

  • Write down your memory and then let it go with tears
  • Speak with a trusted and understanding friend
  • Meditate and ask the angels to heal your soul wounds (yes it is as simple as that!)
  • Most of all forgive yourself, someone or the situation and let it go (to keep thinking about it only brings it back to you) having a sort of ritual where you release and let it go can be so important.  It gives you not only a visual but a chance to say good bye to a memory.  Your ritual can be burning a hand written letter, throwing it out to sea, or sending it into the sky.  Go with what feels the best to you (please be mindful of the environment and make it safe for the animals)
  • Most importantly set your intention to heal yourself!!!

The past can be a powerful tool to heal forward into the future.  Especially with a new year beginning NOW is the perfect time for forgiveness and facing ourselves so we can let more light into our lives leading into 2012.

Dreams and Visions: Visions Are There For You to Send a Prayer

Usually around the holidays we tend to feel more stressed and we are all busy rushing around.  For me personally the more stressed I become the more dreams and visions I tend to receive or maybe it is vice versa.  It is from my dreams and visions that I tend to feel stressed.  Regardless I am always learning to stop…breath…and let go.  That isn’t always easy but I try.

Dreams and visions that we receive are there for us to help us and to help others.  Some can be beautiful, some confusing and some down right scary but realize they are all there for a reason.  Your dreams are a great resource once you know how to interpret them.  It does take time to learn interpretations but I can tell you this the more you practice the better you become.  For myself I always know that the angels give me guidance when I am confused or stuck on what one of my dreams mean.

For example a few days ago I had a very restless night tossing and turning.  I dreamt of a white coiled up snake with pink polka dots hiding in my left shoe and once I had placed my foot in the shoe its fangs punctured my foot.  Startled I left the room and went outside onto a beach and sat watching the waves when all of a sudden the waves came in so high and fast I ran back as quickly as I could.  Feeling a lot of anxiety I awoke feeling horrible and wondering what the heck all that meant.  The following morning I looked online to find out what the snake meant and the colors, I always examine my dreams and I always ask several people what they think.  Finally, as I was washing the dishes and feeling calm in my mind I received the answer.  It was simple the snake was giving me a wake up call (the bite) that I am being carefully protected by the divine or (white) light and the pink polka dots were simply expressing love.  As for the beach and the water rising well that morning I sadly saw the news that the Philippines had been hit badly by flood waters and many perished.   Your dreams can have visions too!

That very morning as I called my mother to share with her my dream she had one to share as well.  She dreamt of a damn breaking and many people dying from flood waters.  That is a full vision!  She felt it was in China but it could have very well have been the Philippines.  Either way she wrote down her vision dated it and keeps it in a journal.  We should all be keeping a journal of our dreams and visions it can become a great resource.  Especially looking back in your journal and you realize how much you’ve learned about yourself.   From personal experience I had to learn over time that your visions are there for you to send a prayer.  Unfortunately, we can not always change the visions we receive but we can send our love to the areas that have been hit with devastation.  Sending angels to help can be just as powerful as you being there and helping physically.

With that said pay close attention to your dreams and visions that you receive even if you believe you are not receiving any, you are.  Chances are you might be astral traveling at night helping around the world and your dreams and visions are your memory of that experience.  I have a very close friend of mine who does wake up on the other side of the world helping people.  It can be very startling and confusing but she has now since gotten used to it and seems to have adjusted very well.  I am thankful to her because even though we are all busy living our lives we are also living a spiritual life too.  We are all constantly growing even in our sleep.  Like my friend and so many others it is because of that nightly work that our world is heading into peace.  So if you wake up tired or have had visions and dreams realize that you are growing and helping so many of us right now.  Remember to stop…breath…and let go.

Love Always…Tamara

How Children Enrich Our Spiritual Path

Two years ago when I awoke to my intuition and feeling overwhelmed with my new senses I really became scared as to how I was going to balance my two lives.  Really on one hand I had my four children to raise and then I had this new life filled with spiritual beings and enlightened souls.  That’s not easy to do on top of all the pressures we have in our everyday life.  The thought crossed my mind that living as a monk sounded very nice at that time because they would have the time to focus on their intuition.  Then someone said to me that living a peaceful life on a mountain and only having to focus on you is easy.  Living a life raising children, being a mother and wife is where you really take on spiritual growth.  Now that is not to say if you do not have children that you are not growing spiritually I think what this man really meant was that we could all live a quiet peaceful life on a mountain top but what would we really learn, where’s the experience?  Being a mother provides you with an opportunity to learn another perspective and love.  By adding that additional love into your life it makes you face yourself even more.  How do you handle it when your baby cries and you are tired?  Do you hurt when your child is hurting?  When your children are fighting does it drive you crazy?  These are everyday challenges that your children give you to enrich your spiritual path.  These challenges are actually blessings for us to look within ourselves.

When we look within ourselves we don’t always react the way we want to especially with our own children.  Long ago I had this belief that if a child misbehaved it was the parents doing, well that is not always the case.  One of the biggest lessons I learned was that our children come to us already with their own personality and their own choices.  We are simply their caretakers to help nurture them to become mindful people.  The children in return simply teach us about ourselves on a deeper level.  We are constantly being challenged and being pleasantly surprised; I know personally I never felt strong as a person until I had my children and that started with the birthing process.   Children are teachers too whether they are your own, a niece or nephew or a child you just saw at the grocery store.  Just looking at a child makes you reflect on your own inner child, doesn’t it?  You think back to when you were that age and what were the things you enjoyed, it should bring joy and love back into your heart.  I have had some run ins with a few people who would give my child a dirty look due to my child being too loud or too silly at times, as a mother we have all had an experiences when someone around you did not like your child or parenting style.  But then I reflect on that person and think how sad that they have forgotten that they too were once a child and could they have lost the connection to their own inner child?  Don’t get me wrong it does make me feel uncomfortable at times especially when we try hard everyday and then your sweet child turns into a monster once you go outside.  But maybe, just maybe your child had to react that way in order to help someone else look at themselves?  Personally my children do things almost everyday that make me reflect on myself as a person and my parenting style; it is always a work in progress it is all in how you look at it.

Just recently my oldest daughter shared with me a memory in which she remembered being with God and was in a space where babies go to wait to choose their parents.  She said she pointed to my husband and me so that no one could take her place.  Then she described going into a tunnel and straight into my tummy.  My daughter chose ME!  That to me is an honor that I do not take likely.  It also made me reflect on how to nurture my daughter’s ability.  With some parents I am sure if their child told them this they would think that it’s her imagination or she heard it in a movie.  Well being connected to my own intuition I was able to help and support my daughter by asking questions or simply listening to her past experience.  Just from that simple moment she had taught me to nurture her abilities and to support my other children with understanding.  These memories are lessons for us all to learn that we do come from somewhere else outside of what we see in this material world.

Children can enrich everyone’s spiritual path just as much as adults can.  Often times children have even a more direct approach and yet still have a playful way of sharing their intuition.  Since children recently came from where we all originated from it makes sense that they would remember more and have a refreshing outlook on life.  We as adults sometimes loose that connection and children are a wonderful resource to remind us of our own inner child.  So let us all take a step back and view our world with childlike vision, open ourselves up with curiosity and most importantly play and have fun in life.  If anything at all when children play they are learning the most, after all research does support this finding, with that said let’s remember to play and learn as we continue on our spiritual path reminding ourselves that we have the best teachers of all, our children.
