Sedona has such amazing magical powers that I felt it was the best place to have our first ever Intuitive Mothers Retreat. Since it was the first time that I have ever held something like this I wanted to include the invitation to the Facebook private group since the ladies there have built up such a great support system with one another. It was to be a simple one weekend getaway to relax, connect with the Angels and absorb all that Sedona has to offer.
We arrived in the late afternoon Friday and quickly checking into the hotel to get unpacked and find some food! We had such a great time sitting and talking as we ate our delicious dinner, as mothers just simply sitting without someone asking you to take them to the bathroom or cut their food is a blessing, smile! Once we returned to the hotel we had some time to connect on a spiritual level. We shared, asked questions and I was grateful enough to offer angel readings to the ladies that were there. My hope was to lead by example to show they too can connect with their angels and inner guidance.
That following morning after breakfast we decided to hike, it turned into a magical three and a half hour journey. We saw these rock formations along the way that were perfectly shaped into hearts. What is interesting about these rocks was that in all honesty I thought they were formed by mother nature however it wasn’t until just two days ago that I learned that someone had created these heart rocks and placed them within Boynton Canyon, the town of Sedona asked this gentleman to remove all of them and so I believe a lot of what we found is from this gentleman. I believe he sprinkled them throughout various hiking spots in Sedona.
More than the heart rock formations it was the energy of the land that really can draw you in. With each step deeper into a canyon you become purified. You feel the weight of life drop off, you begin to feel lighter, and you become childlike in your discoveries. All along the trail we were shown all sorts of wonders from the designs worms had left on the trees, to the river and the prayer rocks that people stack along the way. Even the people that you come across are all part of this journey of exploration. Your senses become heightened you smile more and best of all you are walking with the heartbeat of Sedona. What I enjoyed the most about our hike was that the ladies shared their gifts without fully being aware of what they were doing. One of the women could spot things in nature that I would have simply walked over or passed, a true gift indeed. While another woman was for the first time beginning to feel energy of the fairies, both of these were gifts to not only see but be witnesses to.
After our long hike we were so ready to eat and of course shop! After lunch the weather began to change and the rain began to fall so we walked into one of my favorite crystal shops in Sedona. As we began to take our time searching through all the various crystals I intuitively felt that I was being pulled to speak and ask questions with the two women who were working that day. One was an Angel Reader and the other was a brand new employee. I had asked them if they had seen anything or experienced anything recently and one of the ladies brought her cell phone and showed me a picture of ship in the sky, as if it was no big deal and happens all the time. There it was plain and simple, no graphics, no touch ups just a simple ship along a highway. She mentioned that many were there but most tend to be on the outskirts of Sedona since there are so many people. This was the energy that I had felt pulling me in for three days before we came to Sedona. The other lady who was there mentioned that she experienced something in the Boynton Canyon area a while back but it was more of an energetic experience than a physical one.
What empresses me about Sedona is that we can be free to speak about such topics and share our experiences openly. As we continued along the shops we tended to go to the shops that were local and independently owned. Every shop we went into we would speak with the owner and why they had opened something in Sedona, for a memory or tradition within the family, their stories were simply beautiful. Our shopping trip wasn’t so much about purchasing items but listening and speaking with the people who live in Sedona. That to me was more joyful and fun than anything else because you can learn so much by simply speaking with the locals.
As the rain began to set in and cold wind hitting our faces we decided to return to the hotel, once there we realized it was dinner time but we were too full from the late lunch so we all looked at one another and said, “What about a movie?” Noah had just come out and sure enough it would start in just 30 minutes so we raced off to see the movie on a cold and rainy night in Sedona. If you haven’t seen the movie I would highly recommend watching this epic story as it is done with incredible visuals and so many symbols behind all that the writers and director interjected, I believe on purpose and with reason, let’s just say they did their homework. It is a movie that will draw you in wanting to understand and take in more about our history, the fallen angels even asking about how they thought of certain aspects of the movie, it will make you think and ask a lot of questions from within. In fact once the movie was over it left a few with tears in their eyes and leaving our night filled with great late night conversations, it was wonderful!
The next morning the sun was back out, the skies were cleared and we were ready for one last exploration in Sedona before we all had to head back home. We went into a Canyon that is filled with wonderful energy and seemed so magical. One of the ladies that came along this retreat was a Yoga instructor so we took out Yoga mats and lay deep within this canyon absorbing the energies that surrounded us. I believe we wound up meditating well over an hour. It was during this time that the energies came in so quickly like a fast moving slide show that I cannot exactly remember what I saw or what exactly took place.
There was a Native American gentleman that approached me and mentioned that the land we were resting on was very sacred and to be gentle with its energy. The mountains that surrounded us had a bright blue aura to them that seemed to glow from within as if the mountains were actually giant blue crystals that have been covered with centuries of dirt. As I mentioned before I could feel that something was going to happen from the three days leading up to Sedona I was a bit apprehensive as I knew it would involve ET’s. Yes, I do have some fears about them even though every experience that I have ever had has been both positive and incredibly loving however my stomach was still flipping upside down. It was within that moment as I looked up that I saw two perfectly round circles that were silver and white, these were not orbs as they were not translucent. They seemed to know how to communicate with one another as if two friends flying side by side off to their destination beyond this certain mountain we were lying next to. I was so shocked to see them that I quickly said allowed, “Oh my goodness!” The other ladies of course never saw a thing as they had their eyes shut in meditation. That was the experience that I was so fearful of? Why? It was so beautiful and I began to feel a bit disappointed within myself as if I had failed in some way.
As it was time to head back home I felt that my business in Sedona was not yet complete in some way, it was if I had not completed my mission there yet. So I know in time I will need to go back and try again to see what it was that I missed. I do believe that this trip was to focus on the mothers and that was my first and foremost intention with this entire retreat. I realized that Sedona will probably be the best spot for any future Intuitive Mother Retreats as the energy there is exactly what any woman needs to decompress from their lives. Sedona carries with it all the natural elements, crystal energy and best of all, the woman are there to carry that energy with them back home recharged and ready to move forward in their missions in life.
I look forward to next year’s Intuitive Mothers Retreat as I hope that the numbers will grow and that the women find new friendships that are based on love, kindness and deep spiritual understandings and support. And if you have never been to Sedona, Arizona I would highly recommend visiting its intoxicating energy because you just never know what you might find or experience there. Until next time!
